Students in Sunday School, students explored Luke 10:38-42 as they studied “Journey to Bethany.” Students learned about Jesus’ visit with the sisters Mary and Martha. A family talk topic might be how we focus our attention on the Word of God. A review question might be, “What did Jesus say was more important? How does God help us grow in His Word?”
Results from last Sunday’s Congregational Meeting - It was approved that Rusty Olson is now the Property Management chairman. It was also approved that $21,500 be taken from the Probst Foreign Mission Fund to support Gale Ludvigson’s internship at Lutheran Bible Translators.
In July, we will be collecting deodorants and liquid body soaps for both Immanuel Community Services and Compass Cascade Women's Shelter. These items are much needed items and are always appreciated. Thanks to all our generous givers for helping out both of these groups.
Remember to bring your MITE box next Sunday. You can place it in the basket on the usher’s station at the back of the sanctuary. Mites go to many worthy projects in our state and all over the world. There are plenty of empty boxes for you to pick up for next month.
