Today’s Sunday School lesson is about the wonderful, true story of Joseph. It begins today with the account of jealous brothers selling Joseph into Slavery (Genesis 37). A family discussion might focus on how hatred and u nkind thoughts are sins that can lead us to hateful words and actions, as they did for Joseph’s brothers.
The youth are invited to go hiking Saturday, September 24, at Mt. Pilchuck. Leading the hike will be Brian Danforth and Eric Brod. We encourage junior high through college age youth to attend, however, if you are up to a beautiful hike you are invited to join us. We will be meeting in the church parking lot and leaving around 8:00 AM. Please let us know ASAP if you want to attend. RSVP to Brian Danforth.
Instrumental Ensemble has begun! New musicians are always welcome. Contact Bev Edmon, director.

For a great time of fellowship, please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for more details.

Do you enjoy music? Would you like to ring handbells? Maybe a family member or friend would like to learn with you. The bell choir practices weekly and plays in both services once a month. If you’d like to learn to play bells, please contact Dorothy, and we will arrange training.
Desserts are needed for Pastor Lassman’s Adult Information Class. If you have a special dessert recipe you would like to share with the class, please sign up on the upstairs bulletin board.
