Today in Sunday School: The theme is love for one’s enemies as recorded from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:38-48.) The children studied the account of Ananias and Saul from Act 9:10-19. Ask your children to tell you how Jesus instructs us to treat our enemies. Talk about how we were enemies of God and how through Jesus, God has made us His friends.

Mekane News: With the recent addition of several new families with young children, we find ourselves in a dilemma of how to handle the less than 3 year olds during the Sunday School time. We have decided to reestablish the nursery (right off the sanctuary) We could use some help making this a suitable space for this age. Do you have a small child's table and a couple chairs? Some "board books"? Some age appropriate educational/toys? A rocking chair? Maybe a bean bag chair? If you think you may have anything that we might be interested in, please contact Cheryl Kohring @ 206-364-5324 or firstname.lastname@example.org . Thank you!
